The Solver’s Way

We don’t just write code.
We solve problems.

Solvative was built on one idea: technology should solve real problems. Founded in 2010, we have grown from a small team to over 120 Solvers, serving clients across the globe with solutions in Salesforce, cloud engineering, AI/ML, and custom development.

💡

Be Curious

Never stop learning. Explore Udemy Business, ask questions, dig deeper. A Solver finds their way.

🤝

Own It Together

No blame games. We win as a team and fix problems as a team. If you see something broken, own the fix.

🎯

Ship Quality

Every line of code, every JIRA ticket, every client interaction reflects who we are. Quality is non-negotiable.

❤️

People First

We take care of each other. From insurance to mental health days, Solvative puts its people before profits.

🌍

Think Global

We serve clients across 3 continents. Think internationally, communicate clearly, respect every timezone.

🚀

Solve Forward

Innovation is not optional. Push boundaries, challenge assumptions, and never settle for “good enough.”

Fun fact

The name “Solvative” = Solve + Creative + Innovative. And we call everyone a “Solver” — because that is exactly what we do.

Life at Solvative

Work hard, play harder.

Remote-first does not mean isolated. We build real connections through rituals that matter.

Appraisals & Growth

Your growth matters.

Quarterly reviews, transparent rubrics, and real bonuses. We invest in your success.

RISE — Performance Management Tool

All appraisals, goals, and feedback are managed on RISE. Set goals each quarter and complete self-assessments before reviews. Quarterly ratings use a 1.0–5.0 scale (see rating bands below) and feed directly into your performance bonus.

Q1: Jan–Mar  •  Q2: Apr–Jun  •  Q3: Jul–Sep  •  Q4: Oct–Dec
Why every 0.5 matters

The scale is read in 0.5 increments — each one signals a meaningful step in your growth and what to expect next. Above 4.0, the bands narrow so progression and bonus impact track real shifts in scope and influence.

RatingLevelWhat it means — quality traits
4.9 – 5.0Solver ChampionConsidered a value champion to the organisation. Demonstrated breakthroughs in process, communication, technology, or another metric deemed crucial to the success of the business, leading to a positive business outcome. The top 20-percentile Solvers.
4.6 – 4.8Solver MultiplierImpact is no longer contained within their own delivery — it is visible across the team and at an organisational level. Actively mentoring junior solvers, leading workstreams, and shaping project direction and quality standards. Their way of working has become a reference point others align to. Actively building toward Champion-level breakthroughs.
4.3 – 4.5Solver CatalystHas moved beyond mastering their own scope and is elevating the work around them. Demonstrating Excellence is the baseline, not the ceiling. Proactively identifies opportunities beyond their immediate project, contributes meaningfully to discussions outside their workstream, and is taking informal ownership of how junior solvers develop. Next step: structured mentoring and leading smaller initiatives end-to-end.
4.0 – 4.2Demonstrating ExcellenceThe scale narrows here. The Solver demonstrates excellence in the role — works on all aspects of the project without supervision, shows high agency and ownership, is fully aligned with core values, and effectively contributes to business growth. Retaining 4.0–4.5 consistently sets up the next career progression step.
3.0 – 3.9Meeting expectations consistentlyGetting the job done without hiccups: writing quality code without bugs, delivering projects on time, working hours convenient to the client, handling multiple things inside a project, guiding juniors. At this scale, a Solver should start thinking about how to go above the basic expectation and contribute more to the business.
2.1 – 2.9Meeting expectations sporadicallySolver is able to meet expectations, but these are the minimum attached to the role and there is large scope for improvement. Behaviours include completing work on or after the deadline, or quality of work that can be better. Intervention: plan a career path and role enhancement before discussing progression.
1.0 – 2.0Needs DevelopmentSolver is misaligned with the basic expectations of the role. Bottom 20-percentile range — intervention is required. This can take the form of a PIP or multiple sync conversations with the People Lead and a technical mentor.
Bonus Structure

Bonuses, by tier.

Performance bonus is a percentage of your appraised monthly pay, tied directly to the rating tier above.

🌱

Meeting Expectations Consistently

75%

Of appraised monthly pay. For the 3.0–3.9 band — getting the job done without hiccups.

🎯

Demonstrating Excellence

90%

Of appraised monthly pay. The benchmark for excellence in the role (4.0–4.2).

Solver Catalyst

100%

Of appraised monthly pay. Recognises Solvers elevating the work around them (4.3–4.5).

🚀

Solver Multiplier

110%

Of appraised monthly pay. Reflects org-level impact and mentorship (4.6–4.8).

🏆

Solver Champion

115%

Of appraised monthly pay. The highest tier — for breakthrough-level contribution (4.9–5.0).

🚫

Needs Development / Sporadic

No Bonus

Bands 1.0–2.0 and 2.1–2.9 are not eligible for performance bonus. Intervention plans apply.

Bonus Types

There are three types of bonus.

Each one has a different trigger, schedule, and eligibility window.

📝

Joining / Promised Bonus

Year 1 only

A bonus component that you may or may not have been promised at the time of joining Solvative. It applies for the first year of employment only.

📈

Performance-linked Bonus

Two parts

Paid based on your rating at the end of the review cycle, along with your appraised salary. Part 1 is paid with your appraisal; Part 2 at the end of the 6th month from your joining date.

❤️

Loyalty Bonus

₹5,000+

₹5,000 after Year 1, with a cumulative +₹5,000 each additional year (₹10K at Year 2, ₹15K at Year 3, and so on). Paid at the end of your quarter with your appraisal.

Please note

Bonus is paid only once during your performance cycle year. If you are eligible for a joining or a promised bonus in your first year, there will not be a performance-linked bonus paid during your appraisal cycle. The bonus structure may also be revised keeping financial forecasting in mind — subject to revision without prior notice.

How to Resolve Conflict

  • Talk 1-on-1 first: Most conflicts are misunderstandings
  • Listen more than you speak
  • Assume good faith
  • Focus on the issue, not the person
  • Escalate if needed: Your manager is there to help
